Our laboratory technician is always available to check a sample of your blood, urine or body tissues. This text is necessary to diagnose medical conditions, plan or evelauate treatments, and monitor diseases.  

There are many reason you may be order for a laboratory test. some of which include Dignosis( to rule in or rule out diagnosis), Screening ( eg for congenital hypothyroidism via neonatal thyroxine testing) etc. Common tests that are done in the laboratory include but not limited to the following: Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP), Lipid Profile,  Thyroid Test(s),  Urinalysis (UA), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) etc.

Usually, tests conducted in the lab  are analysed to see results fall within normal range, however, the tests use a range because what is normal differs from persobn to person as there are many factors that affect test results.
